Support Independent Living (SIL)

At Radix Health Services, supported independent living (SIL) is a type of service that provides people with disabilities or other complex needs with the assistance they need to live as independently as possible. However, there are also alternative options available for those who may not want or need full-time support.

Community-Based Living

This involves living in a community setting with others who have similar needs and receiving support as needed. This could include living in a group home, shared living arrangement, or apartment complex with on-site support staff. This option allows individuals to live independently while still having access to support when needed.

Assisted Living

This is a type of residential care where individuals can live independently in their own apartment or room but also receive assistance with activities of daily living, medication management, and other needs. Assisted living can be a good option for those who may not need as much support as SIL provides but still require some assistance to maintain their independence.

At Radix health services, our support is person-centred, enhance your quality of life and independence while receiving the support you need.
